Liz who was on maternity leave from her food manufacturing role gave birth to her son. Sadly, he was born with long-term health complications which Liz and her husband knew would add pressures to the family in the future.
Liz’s husband took additional time off work to help his family through the difficult time, which caused a reduction in their income. GroceryAid awarded a crisis grant to help alleviate the financial impact so that they could focus on supporting each other as a family.
