Get set for the Booker Dragon Race – an exciting new addition to the GroceryAid fundraising calendar and our first partnership event with Booker. Dating back over 2,000 years, with its roots in China, dragon boat racing is one of the UK’s most exciting and inclusive water sports.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Bisham Abbey, over 40 teams will row down the Thames to the beat of the drum, competing to be crowned Dragon Boat champions. Throughout the day there will be sponsor activations, entertainment, a BBQ, the all-important prize giving, and a chance to network. Each boat takes ten people – you can purchase one team of five or one team of ten. And you can also invite your Booker colleague to join your boat for the day.
