Planning your event
Below are a few points to consider when organising your own awareness event:
- What's happening? Every workplace is different and we understand that what works for one team may not work for another. Decide what activities you would like to take place and when is the best time for it to happen. If you would like some guidance or simply discuss what may work best please contact email@example.com
- Spread the word - It's important to generate as much excitement as possible about the activities that are available by using your internal communication channels. Share news of your event using email, your company intranet and social networking sites. GroceryAid has both Facebook and Twitter pages, just linking to our pages raises awareness.
- Donations - If your event has fundraising potential, we have sponsorship forms available to help you, as well as guidance on using JustGiving. If you have raised money please pay it in to us as soon as possible.
