If you are autistic, supporting an autistic child, or exploring whether autism might explain your experiences or those of someone you care for, support is available.

Through this partnership, families receiving a financial grant may also access personalised, trusted and practical guidance to help them understand their options and find the right support at the right time.

  • Eligibility criteria

    You may qualify for a Financial Grant if:

    • You currently work in the grocery industry, have at least six months’ service, and meet the financial criteria
    • You live in the same household as the person you care for and can provide proof of Carer’s Allowance, Carer’s Credit, or a benefit such as SSP, ESA, PIP or DLA
    • Or you are struggling to balance caring with work and have recently experienced a drop or fluctuation in income due to unpaid leave

Emotional Support

GroceryAid’s 24/7 Helpline offers:

  • A confidential conversation and immediate emotional support at any time
  • Access to structured counselling, in person or by phone (subject to assessment)
  • Counselling for children and young people, delivered through Relate (subject to assessment)
