Do caring responsibilities impact your finances?

More than 6 million people in the UK care for a family member or someone else close to them. If caring is putting extra pressure on your finances, GroceryAid may be able to help with a one-off grant and wider support.

Could I get a carers grant?

You may be eligible if you currently work in grocery, have been in the industry for at least six months and meet GroceryAid’s financial criteria.

You’ll also need evidence that you are caring for someone, such as Carer’s Allowance, Carer’s Credit or an eligible household benefit including SSP, ESA, PIP or DLA.

Who can the grant support?

You may be able to get financial help if you are caring for a partner or dependent child who lives in your household.

Support may also be available if you are a grocery colleague who needs to be cared for by a family member at home.
