Support after a difficult incident at work

If you or someone in your team has witnessed or been involved in a serious incident at work, GroceryAid can provide emotional and trauma support. Getting help early can make it easier to process what has happened and understand what support may be helpful.

What can we help with?

The service can support grocery colleagues affected by incidents such as:

  • an accident at work
  • the unexpected death of a colleague
  • a medical emergency
  • a robbery involving a threat to life
  • a violent attack
  • a vehicle accident

If you're an employer

Once any police or legal investigations are complete, you can call GroceryAid’s free and confidential Helpline on 08088 021 122.

We’ll talk through the impact on your team and, where appropriate, arrange for a trauma support specialist to spend a full or half-day on site.
