What might happen next?
Every conversation is different. Depending on what you need, your call could lead to one of the following:
Support in the moment
Your conversation may give you the immediate emotional support you need, with nothing further required at that time.
Ongoing counselling
Your counsellor may recommend either short term (up to six sessions) or longer term (from 12-20 sessions) structured counselling sessions, subject to an assessment to make sure this is the right support for you.
Specialist support
You may be directed to one of GroceryAid’s support partners, another specialist organisation, your GP or an NHS service better suited to your needs.
Come back whenever you need to
Whatever happens next, you can still contact the Helpline whenever you need emotional support in the moment.
