Food and Drink Expo Supports GroceryAid

GroceryAid is delighted to be involved with this year’s Food and Drink Expo which is taking place in Birmingham between 25th and 27th of April.

In addition to benefitting from publicity across Food and Drink Expo’s communication channels, GroceryAid will also receive all charitable donations from the Food and Drink Expo’s MyCoffee Station.

Delegates attending the show’s Live Events will be given a copy of GroceryAid’s Retailer communication toolkit which is designed to help retailers raise awareness of the charity within their own shops. A copy can be downloaded here.

GroceryAid’s latest film will also be shown to delegates: a moving story about how the charity supported Sunita Aggarwal following the death of her husband Raj, a well-respected and much-loved independent retailer, who passed away after contracting Covid-19. The film can be watched here.

Steve Barnes, GroceryAid’s CEO says. “This type of support from the Food and Drink Expo provides an important platform for us to reach retailers and their colleagues. Our ambition is to ensure all colleagues are aware of the welfare services that GroceryAid offers from their first day of employment within the grocery industry.”
