Asda is proud to announce their collaboration with GroceryAid on the Tickled Pink Gala Ball, to help raise vital funds for its charity partners. This partnership reflects Asda’s long-standing commitment to supporting its Tickled Pink charity partners, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, to raise funds for better treatments, vital education, and life-changing support, for anyone who needs it.

Every 10 minutes in the UK a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, and a man is diagnosed every day. Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign is one of the longest UK charity partnerships, running for 27 years and raising over £82 million pounds.

GroceryAid has been providing emotional, practical, and financial support for grocery people since 1857. With the funds raised by the Tickled Pink Gala Ball, and alongside the work of Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, we can bring life-changing messages and support to even more people affected by breast cancer.

Jo Warner, Senior Director of Community and Corporate Affairs, said “We are delighted to be working with GroceryAid on our biggest fundraising event of the year. The Asda Tickled Pink Gala Ball has gone from strength to strength, and, with GroceryAid’s support, we have ambitions to make it even bigger and better. Bringing GroceryAid on board means that the event now benefits four charities as, along with Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, the event venue funds the charitable work of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.”

Jane Hill, Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Engagement said “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Asda on The Tickled Pink Gala Ball and joining CoppaFeel! and Breast Cancer Now to continue this campaign’s amazing work. Working with Asda enables us to raise awareness of GroceryAid’s services, which are accessible 24/7, 365 days a year to all industry colleagues. Through the money raised, we will have a specific fund available to support industry colleagues and their families affected by breast cancer.”
