The GroceryAid School Essentials Grant is now closed

Thank you for your interest in the School Essentials Grant 2023. The fund is now closed as we have received the maximum number of applications.

If you have already applied and received an email confirmation this will give the latest date when you will hear from us. We will be unable to discuss your application by phone or respond to requests for updates to you by email.

You may be eligible for further assistance for school uniform or equipment from the Government or your Local Authority https://www.gov.uk/school-uniform, plus take a look at the Grant Search tool at Turn2us https://grants-search.turn2us.org.uk/

Do you need help urgently?

You may be entitled to a GroceryAid non-repayable grant. If you can evidence a recent drop in household income, an event which is causing a financial crisis such as:

  • Long term disability or illness in your household
  • Homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Financial help to leave an abusive relationship
  • Starting again after a relationship breakdown

Apply for a Financial Grant on the GroceryAid website.

Please note you cannot apply for both grants. We will only progress the first grant application form you submit. Further applications will be deleted.

If you are awarded a School Essentials Grant, you can’t apply for a further grant from GroceryAid for at least six months.
