If you or a team member has witnessed or been involved in a critical incident at work, we have a specific service ready to help.

We always recommend you get in touch as soon as you can –  talking things through with a qualified expert can make all the difference.

Our critical incident service supports any grocery colleague affected by an incident that impacts the workplace such as:

  • An accident at work
  • The death of a colleague
  • A medical emergency
  • A robbery with a threat to life
  • A vehicle accident
  • A violent attack

What does the service offer and how does it work?

If you’re an employer:

Following an incident, and once any police or legal investigations are done, please call our free and confidential helpline on 08088 021122.

We’ll talk about the impact on your team. And if we think it’s the best way forward, we’ll arrange for a trauma support specialist to spend a full or half-day on site with your team.
