The Covid-19 outbreak has dramatically changed our lives, especially our relationships with those in our families and communities.
Maintaining good relationships is hugely important to our Health and Wellbeing, so having to shield or socially distance fro people we care about can be challenging, both emotionally and practically, especially when we are all experiencing uncertainty and worries about the coronavirus outbreak.
In order to come through this, we all need to keep caring for ourselves and for each other, building on what has brought us together and drawing on the unique strengths of our relationships. We may be finding ourselves spending far more time than we are used to with those who share our homes and whilst this can be positive it can also be challenging.
It’s important you know that the GroceryAid Helpline can support you through this difficult time. They offer ‘in the moment’ emotional support for dealing with anxiety and stress through BACP trained counsellors at the end of the telephone, 24/7 365 days a year so there is always someone to talk to.
GroceryAid can provide up to six free sessions of relationship counselling and support to Grocery Colleagues past and present. Healthy relationships with our partners and family are vital to our health and wellbeing. As we move through life, we experience changes and transitions that can put pressure on our relationships and it’s good to know that there is support available to help you, your partner and your family cope with both the emotional and practical impact on your lives together.
