Volunteer your time and talents

Volunteer your time on one of our committees or by helping to support our beneficiaries

Help with our fundraising and awareness work.

Opportunities are available on our regional fundraising Branches and Network awareness groups.

Regional Branches

The Branches are staffed by industry volunteers and together raise as much regionally as we do centrally. They organise fundraising events including golf days, go-karting and dinner and dances.

If you are interested in finding out more about the work of the Branches and how you can help, please fill in our Contact form.

Network awareness groups

Become a member of one of our Network awareness groups and help to increase understanding and awareness of the charity and how it can help those in need across the industry. The main purpose of the group is to provide a non-competitive forum for those working in our industry, allowing them to network and build business relationships, whilst spreading the word about the work of GroceryAid.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Network awareness groups and how you can take part, please fill in our Contact form.

Help with our Welfare Work

Volunteer for us and become a professionally trained volunteer Welfare Assessor or Befriender.Welfare conf assessor 350px.jpg

GroceryAid has a dedicated team of Welfare Assessors and Befrienders who volunteer their time helping our beneficiaries. They are our front line and without them we would be unable to offer the breadth and depth of support to those in need.

If you are interested in finding out more about how you can help with our welfare work and spend time with our beneficiaries then please go to 'Help with our Welfare Work' or contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Rachel Whitrod on rachel.whitrod@groceryaid.org.uk
