President's Clay Pigeon Shoot 

E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds, High Wycombe

Hosted by Andrew Higginson (President of GroceryAid and Chairman of Morrisons) with the promised support of Tesco Category Directors come and join us for a category shoot out! A brilliant day of shooting, food & drink and catching up with industry colleagues all in an informal setting. No shooting experience is necessary, so the novice need not worry, it’s a lot of fun! 


8 November 2019Sebastian Coe and Katharine Merry

Sporting Lunch

Grosvenor House Hotel, London 

Running for over 50 years this event brings 1,250 senior industry colleagues and over 30 past and present sporting heroes together for the kick off to Christmas! 2018’s line up included Lord Sebastian Coe and a Q&A with Alan Shearer and Mike Tindall. The event was hosted by John Inverdale and Katharine Merry with guests such as Gold Medal winners Kate and Helen Richardson Walsh from the Olympic Hockey team and Rugby World Cup Winner Jonny Wilkinson.

President's Carol Concert 

St Luke's Church, Chelsea

An unforgettable evening of Christmas carols sung by a professional live choir, soprano soloist and choirboy with festive readings from industry leaders. Held at the magnificent St Luke's Church in Chelsea, the industry unites along with family, colleagues and friends to celebrate Christmas. Champagne reception and canapés for networking afterwards.

GroceryAid Ball

The GroceryAid Ball is an unforgettable evening with fantastic headline entertainment and fundraising. It’s the one and only night the entire industry is in attendance, including senior leaders. Last year saw an incredible turnout with more than 170+ companies represented including: Asda, Bestway, Booker, Booths, Costcutter, Iceland, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, Nisa Retail, Ocado, OneStop Stores, Rontec Roadside Retail, Sainsbury’s, Spar, Tesco, The Co-op, and Waitrose.

Windermere Row

An excellent team-building activity and chance to show your competitive streak. Teams from across the industry set out on the stunning waters of Lake Windermere to row a ten-mile route with breathtaking views. This unique fitness challenge and our only family friendly event on the calendar offers you and your colleagues a memorable experience with an evening celebration at the luxurious Low Wood Bay Resort.



14 May 2020 Waitrose Garden Party

Waitrose & Partners Garden Party

The Waitrose & Partners Garden Party offers a great evening of networking; last year welcoming over 900 grocery colleagues from 140 companies and 170 Waitrose Partners in attendance. The garden party is inclusive for all suppliers big or small and designed to showcase Waitrose & Partners’ design and core values.

Barcode Festival

Barcode Festival 2020 is set to be spectacular. The summer party for the whole grocery industry will feature four headline acts, a huge variety of mouth-watering street food and bars – all included in the ticket price – plus a few fantastic surprises. All this, plus an even better, bigger location to house twice the number of guests!

9-12 July 2020 

Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge 

Following three epic days of cycling from North to South Wales the Coast to Coast will return in 2020. The ride offers a heavy wholesale/convenience contingent and last year featured the likes of Andrew Thompson, Commercial Director, Booker,  Gary Black, Sales Director- Wholesale & Convenience at Coca-Cola and Jason Tarry, Chief Executive Officer, UK & ROI, Tesco. More details about the route will be revealed soon!

Midlands Autumn Ball 

Marriott Forest of Arden, Birmingham

The Ball is the flagship event for the Midlands region and, with your help, hopes to raise around £50,000 for colleagues who have fallen on hard times. Booker have kindly agreed to support the Ball again this year and with the return of Diageo’s Cocktail bar, we are planning an evening to remember for you and your guests.
