They offer a caring and friendly help and advice service on personal tax issues through their own expert advisers that is jargon-free, independent, confidential and individual to your needs. Tax Help for Older People is a service from the charity Tax Volunteers.
GroceryAid is working with Macmillan Cancer Support in order to help people across the grocery industry who are suffering from cancer. We have joined forces to alleviate the financial stresses and strains that those with the disease may face. People currently being assisted by GroceryAid have been awarded funds to help with living costs, clothing and bedding, which allows patients to concentrate on their health at this sensitive time. Dementia UK - Admiral Nursing Direct
Dementia UK offers specialist one-to-one support and expert advice for people living with dementia through Admiral Nurses. They work hand in hand with families, helping them cope with the fear, uncertainty and difficult everyday reality of dementia. You can access their specialist dementia helpline - Admiral Nursing Direct - staffed by Admiral Nurses who offer advice and support to families, professionals and anyone worried about their memory. It is the only nurse led dementia helpline in the country and provides support from Monday-Friday 9.15am-4.45pm and Wednesday-Thursday 6-9pm on 0800 888 6678.
Health Through Warmth
Health Through Warmth offers help to people in England and Wales who have long term illnesses and are finding it hard to fully fund heating systems/repairs and insulation in their homes. People don’t have to be an npower customer to get help from the scheme.
